On behalf of the developer consortium which includes David Wilson Homes, Davidsons Homes and William Davis Homes, we are writing to inform you of upcoming works on Hamilton Lane.
As part of our planning obligations, highway improvement works which include forming two new junctions for access to the development, as well as a change of priority and speed control measures to improve highway safety are required. Unfortunately, to ensure the health and safety of workers and the public, the works will need to be completed under a road closure. A plan showing the approximate areas of Hamilton Lane/ King Street to be closed and the associated diversion can be found below
Pending approval of the closure by the local highway authority, works are planned to commence on 05.08.24. The total duration of works is estimated at 12 weeks. Access to businesses and properties will be maintained and diversion routes will be marked with signage during the works.
