A site-wide phasing programme sets out timescales for delivering Thorpebury, including the provision of new schools, shops, services, transport improvements and the other facilities which will be provided alongside the new homes.
The first phase of development is due to start in summer 2021. Thorpebury-in-the-Limes will provide an attractive mix of 600 homes of between two and five-bedrooms. There will be extensive high-quality landscaping and green spaces (around 30-acres) including sports pitches, play areas, parkland and new walking and cycling routes.
The Land Trust will be appointed to look after all of the green spaces and community facilities on the site, including this first phase. As a charity, they will ensure that any surplus funds are reinvested into education initiatives and community events.
Working alongside master developer CEG and the landowner, Davidsons, William Davis Homes and David Wilson Homes will deliver this first phase to ensure an exemplary and characterful entrance to the new development.
